Description
I am developing a company KPI scorecard for our property investment company and we are currently inputting data into an excel spreadsheet and I am hoping this can then be developed into a dashboard for board meetings.
My intial though is to use Microsoft Power Apps as we are on MS 365 / Teams etc.
Hoping someone can help
Thanks
Jay K.

Hi Jay,
Before sending a final proposal, could you please clarify:
1. How many KPIs are currently being tracked?
2. Is all data currently maintained within a single Excel workbook?
3. Do different departments contribute KPI data?
4. Would you like users to enter KPI data through Power Apps rather than Excel going forward?
5. Could you share a sample scorecard (with sensitive information removed) for review?
We would be happy to review your existing spreadsheet before any commitment is made.
Kind Regards,
VCONN Private Limited -

- Who will primarily use the dashboard, and what information does each audience need to see? For example, should board members, directors, managers, or operational teams have different views, permissions, or levels of detail within the reporting system?
- Will KPI data continue to be entered manually, or would you like the system to automate data collection from other sources?
- Would you like the dashboard to store and display historical KPI performance over time? -

1. During board meetings, what decisions are typically made from these KPIs? Understanding this helps determine whether the dashboard should focus on reporting, forecasting, or operational intervention.
2. Are the KPIs purely retrospective, or do you want predictive indicators that highlight potential issues before they impact business performance?
3. How many people currently contribute data to the spreadsheet, and would reducing manual reporting effort be considered as important as improving visibility?
4. Do you envision this becoming a company-wide performance management system over time, or primarily an executive dashboard for leadership and board reporting?
5. Which KPI currently has the greatest impact on business outcomes—deal flow, acquisitions, financing, profitability, occupancy, project delivery, or another core metric? That often becomes the anchor for the entire dashboard design.
