Tableau Developer

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain interactive and user-friendly Tableau dashboards and reports based on business requirements.
Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements, and translate them into effective data models, visualizations, and reports.
Create data extracts, work with large datasets, and optimize the performance of Tableau reports and dashboards.
Integrate data from multiple sources, such as SQL databases, Excel, APIs, and other systems, to create comprehensive views of business data.
Perform data analysis to ensure accuracy, identify trends, and provide actionable insights through visualization.
Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction and preparation.
Ensure the security and accessibility of Tableau reports by setting appropriate access and permissions.
Troubleshoot issues with data sources, reports, or Tableau server configurations.
Collaborate with the IT team for deployment of Tableau reports and ensuring the seamless integration with other platforms.
Participate in Tableau Server administration tasks including the deployment of workbooks and the configuration of Tableau Server.
Provide end-user training and support for Tableau reporting solutions.
Stay up-to-date with Tableau features and best practices to ensure the team is using the most efficient techniques and solutions.

Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Tableau Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of Tableau-based dashboards and reports.
Expertise in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Prep.
Proficient in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle).
Experience with data blending, data visualization best practices, and creating interactive dashboards.
Ability to connect to various data sources, such as Excel, Google Analytics, Salesforce, and others.
Strong understanding of data modeling and data transformation.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with business stakeholders.
Knowledge of other visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlik) is a plus.
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and working with large datasets.
Experience in agile development methodologies is preferred
