Eliminate duplicate names in Excel from email addresses and names list

Faced with data like LIST 1, I need to constantly check that the NAME does not appear in LIST 2.

penny@btinternet.com, Penny, Brewill
ted@tedacheson.co.uk, Ted, Atkinson
are duplicated in both as an example.

So both Penny, Brewill and Ted Atkinson would be deleted from List 1 after comparison and finding them in List 2

Need to set this up in Excel (or another way compatible with Mac) so I can compare and de-dupe the lists
And I have Excel but have never used it!
