Description
Experience Level: Expert
Hello, we have a website in Wordpress and we need some help with our online training section.
We’d like you to please fix three things, in this order:
1. We’d like you to fix the online training glitch where the “Final Exam” typically gets stuck on question no. 3.
In a nutshell: we have an online training section on our website that was developed a few years back. It has a training section for our “original” product that works just fine: the training consists of training modules (you watch a short video and answer three questions in each module), followed by a short “Final Exam,” followed by a Training Certificate that populates online automatically for our students and a confirmation email. This works just fine for the training we’ve had for several years for our original product.
Now that we came up with a new product, we developed new training, identical in structure. The website has been set up as to allow us to set up such training ourselves (the coding was ready), so we did that and “published” the training. However, upon testing it turns out that the new product training gets stuck, typically on question no. 3 or 4 of the “Final Exam” and doesn’t go any further. It’s supposed to get to the end of the Final Exam and then automatically populate a Training Certificate. Again, this works like a charm in our online training for our original product but doesn’t work in the new product training section. So maybe you could compare the code for those two and figure it out this way.
Sometimes the new product training doesn't get stuck at all and you get your training certificate, typically if you try a few times. We don't know why. This is to say the code is there and everything is ready, but there is that glitch where the Final Exam gets stuck.
2. We’d also like you to fix the glitch we have when people register new accounts on our website. They receive the “error” message *even though their account has been created*. We just need that error page not to pop up. The registration should take them to a confirmation / login page. Besides the registration process itself and account creation work just fine.
3. We’d like the training menu bar to have a drop down menu with a link to the training site login. Right now there’s no drop down menu there.
*Please see the attached PDF for further details -- there's a character limit here.*
Thank you,
Marta
