Description
Experience Level: Expert
Hi,
We are a nationally active voluntary movement (exploring the issues around modern childhood/societal wellbeing) and have been developing a new magazine platform with the aim of informing, supporting, inspiring and empowering parents and teachers – both in the UK and beyond. It will also be a platform for our expert advisors to share their own thoughts and findings and to present them in ways that are accessible to a worldwide audience.
The initial funding has come from a small National Lottery grant and for this we have used an outsourced developer in India. We have also invested in the development of a new Nationbuilder membership platform with the intention of running this separately to the e-zine.
In September 2016 we commissioned a review of our activities and we have now decided to make the e-zine site the front face of the movement with the membership site accessible though a ‘Get Involved’ link.
What we need from you:
We are looking for someone who can work with us to adapt the e-zine site to now take on this new function. The basic needs are to:
Re-do the top navigation and move the e-zine content to an internal page
Re-configure the sign-up sections
Further develop the ‘Register your interest’ and “Submit an Item’ sections
Help us refine and develop the content sections
Act as our 'go-to' developer for any ongoing issues/ideas
I have attached a couple of images of the initial site mock-ups that give you an idea of the theme design
Developers will be selected on a combination of experience/price/PPH ratings - we are really looking for someone who is interested in the issues and would also like occasional ongoing work as a back-up member of our team
Thanks for taking the time to read this :-)
