Wordpress site Development - Looking for long term working relationship

General information for the website: Corporate site. not selling anything just used for credibility.
Description of requirements/features: Looking for a longer term go to web developer. What I'm looking for in a developer

1. Can communicate clearly in English and understand it.
2. Smarts. I need someone that can solve problems on their own. I can hand them stuff to do and they can just do it and do it right.
3. Design style. I like Swedish Modern Design. Clean lines, lots of white, modern typography. This is very important to me. I need someone that can take the content, images and videos I give them and lay them out in a way that's clean and beautiful.
