Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: less than 1 week
About the website:
----
The website is for a civil engineering and groundworks company.
Summary of requirements/features:
----
I need to have a website completely recreated in Wordpress using the Bridge theme. I can provide the files for the theme if needed. The work is to keep all the pages, images and content from the original website, but to rebuild and modernise them using the Wordpress theme. You will also need to add some new features - see the 'specific features' section below.
Using your own judgement: You will need to use your initiative on this task. The new site you create must be cleaner and more modern than the original, use the original structure and content, and add the specific pages mentioned below.
There may be places where small changes to content is required, such as extra headings. In this case, please let me know, so I can check with my client that the changes are ok.
Pages required:
----
The pages on the existing website are:
• Home
• About
• Groundworks
• Civil Engineering
• Health & Safety
• Contact
In addition, you will need to add:
• Blog
• Projects page
• Subsidiary project pages (up to 10)
• Gallery page
We will supply any content needed for the extra pages, as well as the theme and premium plugins requested.
Plugin Use:
----
Please keep third party plugin us to a bare minimum. Similarly, only enable the modules and features from within Bridge that are required to avoid a bloated Wordpress Dashboard.
Specific features required in the build:
----
• The home page will have full page sections that summarise other pages on the site. I want you to use the plugin FullPage for WP Bakery Page Builder to create this.
• All pages should have subtle animation or parallax effects that are available within the theme applied. Please use your judgement to decide where best to apply these.
• There should be a blog section enabled. Please ensure this is working and uses the default settings from Bridge (you don't need to add in any blog posts apart from the standard hello world one).
• For the gallery page please use the 'Advanced Image Gallery' feature from the theme with the 'Open Lightbox' option selected under 'Image Behaviour'.
• Don’t include the 'Website by' line
• Please check to ensure the mobile version of the site works well on a mobile phone.
Use of images:
----
Please use either the original images from the website, or a placeholder image that can be replaced later if it's necessary.
Specific technologies required:
----

Hi Kevin,
Do you want the home page to look like the "Frozen Yogurt" Bridge demo? Will it be possible for you to share the current website URL? How big is it?
