Description
Experience Level: Entry
I’m currently working on a project that I need some help with as it has gone beyond my own knowledge as a front end developer.
I’ve created a site for a local festival. One half of the site is to allow festival traders to apply for the festival and pay for their stall spaces - the other is a community area where people can find out about local events and activities that have the same ethos as the festival.
https://wordpress-206764-1165821.cloudwaysapps.com
I’m currently using a plugin called WP client for this but I can’t customise it further to do what I need.
I would like people to be able to:
- Register on the site as one of the following:
* Food Stall Holder
* Non-food Stall Holder
* Public Workshop
* Artist Workshop
* Artist Sign up
* Hot Food & Catering
We require slightly different information for each of these applications
- Then as staff would then be able login to the back end and filter the successful applicants
- We would then allow the successful clients access to an area where they could pay for their pitches, and they would need to choose from the following options when paying: https://wordpress-206764-1165821.cloudwaysapps.com/product/food-traders-pitch/ (Electricity, Pitch Size and Stall) This is currently set up in WooCommerce as in previous years this is how we were taking payments, however wp-client does have a payment system built into it so not sure if this would be a better idea?
- Successful applicants would also need be able to upload forms (Public Liability Insurance, Food Hygiene Certificate (If applicable) Image for Website Listing Risk assessment & method statement PAT test certificates (if using electricity) Gas Safety Test & Certificate (if using gas)
As staff we would need to be able to do the following:
- Track forms (there is an extension to the wp-client plugin that may be of use for this)
- Track File uploads from specific users
- Track who has paid
- Track what they have paid for (sometimes applications change their mind and order a larger stall area than what they originally applied for in their application form - this is fine, we just need to see a break down of what they’ve chosen)
- We would like this information visible somewhere in the backend of the site - or if possible downloadable in a spread sheet so we can download this and use it for the site plan of the festival.
I’m looking for someone to help me develop the current system we have or suggest an alternative. I have 2 weeks to complete the work so would realistically need to get cracking with this on Monday.
Thanks
