Quick Project - WordPress plugin to retrieve remote data

I need a WordPress developer to create a custom plugin ASAP.

The plugin will need to

1) connect to a single remote REST endpoint
2) retrieve a set of records as JSON data
3) use the retrieved date to create/update existing custom post types (ACF)
4) repeat steps 1 - 3 on a scheduled basis

Preference is for:

developers that are available today/tomorrow
developers that can demonstrate previous plugin development experience, ideally with similar functionality.
responses that show an understanding of the project and how the requirements will be met

Boilerplate cut & paste responses will be rejected.
