Move our existing wordpress site to a new theme

General information for the website: we have purchased a new theme from Themeforest and would like to port our existing site content to the new theme.

We have it installed here: http://bit.ly/1DOVA2F - we generally have the colors and appearance set how we like it, so if you want to utilize this WP install as a starter, it may save some setup time.

We want to port our existing content to the new theme

Basically, we want to re-create the pages using the new theme.
- Make good use of the new native theme features & shortcodes.
- Retain same menu structure & permalinks
- We will not be utilizing the existing sliders on the home page, so home page slider setup can be skipped.
- New site is to be completed in a test environment so we can make needed tweaks before going live.
- Project also includes final installation of new theme with content to our existing domain.
- All pages on the existing install should be on the new template.
- We also need you to tweak the footer section so it is more readable. Most likely possible via theme settings, but it is possible code edits may be required.
- All our existing plugins should stay.

Extra notes: The details listed above are Phase 1 of the project and should be included on the project.

If we work well together, we will continue to Phase 2 in which we want to add some new content, customize the home page, add some custom graphics (so hopefully you have good graphic design ability or have someone on staff that does). There are also a couple minor customizations that we'd like to make to the header area in Phase 2.
