Improve my Wordpress Site

General information for the website: I have set up my own Wordpress.com site/blog buy I need some help improving it to make it look more professional.
Kind of development: Customization of existing website
Num. of web pages/modules: 4 - 5 pages
Description of every page/module: I have a homepage detailing my services, a blog page, an about me , contact and will have a testimonials page. i need help setting up a decent newsletter function too although not sure if I should just do my newsletter via Blog followers.
Description of requirements/features: I want it to look less like a DIY blog site.
The web address is www.tastepartners.co.uk - if you could include in your proposal suggested improvements it will help me decide which proposal fits with what I would like.
I want to be able to have more images on the home page and possibly other pages too.
