I need a WP site installing and then load speeds improving

Hi,
I have created a site (www.mooncashmere.se) using a template from Themeforest, hosted on Hostgator. It now looks like I want it to, but it is REALLY slow (about 10 seconds load time).

My plan is to create a new site, www.mooncashmere.com using the same template and same hosting, same images (though they need optimising a lot) but it needs to be much faster than www.mooncashmere.se. Can you help with this? Either help me from the start to create the new version (the .com site) or to improve it once I have it set up?

To clarify, the .com site will be an improved version of the .se site I already have. You would only be working on the mooncashmere.com site
