General information for the website: We sell deals and vouchers
Kind of development: New website from scratch
Description of requirements/features: I’m looking for someone to build a Wordpress website with an e-commerce function that links to Paypal as well as having the ability to take secure credit card payment.
We’ve undergone a complete re-design of the brand and building an entirely new website seems like the best option to get the results.
All pages will keep a very similar layout with the header/footer as well as the navigation bar with the categories bar underneath in a drop-down form. A webpage plan has been provided to give you an overview of what we are expecting of the website.
The basic layout of the website and each of the main product/information pages has already been designed and you will be expected to develop from the supplied PSD files to create a clear and professional Wordpress theme so that we can manage the CMS internally.
The system must allow:
• Unlimited pages
• Unlimited users
• Full management of images with asynchronous upload
• Full management of all SEO meta content
• Automatic image thumbnail creation where required
• Easy to use editor for formatting of text and placement of images
• Friendly addresses
• Document upload for product downloads
• Call to action management
• Seamless integration of new functionality and technology going forward
The website must be:
W3C standards compliant and are accessible to WAI level 1. This means that the site will be accessible to users with disabilities, users on portable devices, and the search engines.
The website should be tested in all major modern browsers, including: Internet Explorer 7 and above; Safari; Firefox 2 and above; Google Chrome, and; Opera. The major mobile web browsers should also be supported. Internet Explorer 6 should also be supported.
Any other information will be provided and expected to be added to the website following the theme.
