Customized Function- Wordpress/Woocommerce Print on Demand Customized Program

This is NOT an "install the plugin and be done" job. If this is your mentality, please do not apply. I need someone who can code, and someone who wants to polish this job to completion. Although I realize English may not be your first language and I'm comfortable and respectful of that- I also need someone who can communicate well enough to understand the specifics of this job. Please read the entire job post before applying, and make sure you have the ability to do this, and that we will be a good fit working with each other over the next month.

What I need is a customized version of a program that is widely available from many sources. A "print on demand" ecommerce solution similar to what is used to print Business Cards, T-shirts, etc. There are specific requirements, and we want this to be an exceptional experience for our customers, not a "cookie cutter" solution.

I have set up an example of a very basic program that does this kind of thing, that I will reference with this job at:

Some of the requirements for the program include:

-Ability to add our own fonts at later dates. This includes downloadable fonts from public domains that may not be google fonts. Including fonts that we have created ourselves.

-Ability for client to enter EITHER their own text, OR an adjustable "clipart" silhouette, but NOT allow both.

-Ability for us to upload additional "cliparts" or silhouettes later into the program, for client to use, like the basic program installed on our example allows.

-Ability for us to define specific "text layouts" or "templates" of text- meaning that the selected font should do different things, depending on the layout, or template. For example, under one layout, the text will fit into two lines, top and bottom. Under another layout, the text will warp in a curve. In another layout, the text will start small on the left, and get larger towards the right. We expect to need about 20 different layouts, but maybe less. We don't want the client to be "stuck" on the layout, but for it to pop up as suggested. Very similar to how a business card is designed- The text is sized correctly for the bottom of the card, and number of lines are correct, while the top of the card the text is larger, and appropriate number of lines. The text is variable, some warps one way, others have 2 or three lines, some goes from small to large. -When client selects which product they are working with, program should auto suggest appropriate "cliparts", fonts, and text layouts to use for their product, but the client should not be "stuck" using only them. So for example, if the client selects "The Walking Dead" the text layout should automatically default to the top word being much smaller than the other text, and the font should default to the font we uploaded and tagged with "The Walking Dead". (View The Walking Dead text on google to see example of how text is formed naturally for this brand) However, if the client wants to breakaway from using the layout, they should have the ability to do so. The program should automatically suggest the cliparts we have uploaded, and tagged with "the walking dead", so if we upload a photo of a zombie, they should see that suggestion pop right up when they select the walking dead.


I have the ability to communicate different specifics of this job via skype, through PPH messaging with availability on different time zones, I can use photoshop to communicate via editing screenshots and photos, and YOU should have this communication ability too! This is a project we want done right the first time, and I'm interested in working with programmers and coders who can match my pace.

The scope of time we are looking at for completion of this program fully integrated into our woocommerce website is about 1 to 1.5 months.

Our budget for this program being developed, and integrated into our woocommerce store at LightedPinballMods.com is around 1000.00.

I am not very interested in working on hourly rates, where an unfinished job is acceptable, or a mystery price is always "up in the air."

I am VERY interested in hearing a fixed price for a finished product. I'm very clear and on target with my goal. You should be the same for us to be a good fit.
