Project Title: Excel Quoting Tool Development

Project Description:

We are seeking a skilled Excel professional to help us create a comprehensive quoting tool. The primary goal of this project is to efficiently recreate an existing Excel document, but with additional features and improved functionality. This document will serve as an integral part of our business operations and needs to be designed with precision and an intuitive user interface.

Our company operates in the manufacturing industry, where we need to quote various components of a product. The ability to input quantities next to each component and get a total cost at the end is crucial. This document should facilitate quick and accurate cost calculations to enhance our quoting process.

In addition, one of the core products we manufacture involves flues, for which the diameter is a significant pricing factor. Therefore, the tool must allow for selecting the diameter of the flues, with each diameter having a different cost input, and reflect that in the final total quote.

The ideal solution would be an Excel document that:

Lists all the components with an option to enter quantities next to each.
Calculates the total cost based on the quantities of each component.
Includes an option to select the diameter of the flues and automatically adjust the pricing based on this selection.
Provides a final total at the end, factoring in all components and specific flue diameter selection.
The tool should be intuitive and user-friendly to ensure that it can be used effectively by various team members.
To help guide the creation of this document, we have uploaded an example of our current document. We are looking for enhancements and improvements on this existing format.
