Description
Experience Level: Expert
I have a template that I am happy with for my WordPress website. However, I am wanting to create an investor log in section. The process will be initiated and enquiry where they leave there Name, Mobile, and e-mail, this can be done through Mailchimp (As my database can import the data). This will then send me an e-mail to marc@densonblakeinvestments, with the subject line 'Investor enquiry to work with Denson Blake Investments'
They will receive an e-mail back that explains that due to financial regulations the first step is to meet in person to assess whether they are suitable and can be deemed an HNW or Sophisticated investor. Again through Mailchimp.
Once they have completed documents, I need to be able to create a new list of APPROVED INVESTORS, it needs to securely create a unique reference for them to SIGN IN to the website ~(e-mail and password). Once they do this they get an inside look at what we are doing through Google Maps (see screenshot) This is live data and will need to be dynamic and update when I add more of the pins, so the key is the coding to enable this to work. Once I import data to the google maps then this should update automatically.. This is the main focus of the work.
I would like to NOTEPADD ++ document(s) showing the coding clearly where this is used and notes made which lines the coding is on as this may need to be changed as this is developed. There are other options on the map but the only ones I want available to investors are the PROPERTIES TRANSACTED & INVESTOR OPPORTUNITY. It must not show the House Clearances, EPC, or any other data. If I need to create a new map this is not a problem.
The map must be fully dynamic within the frame of the website. It must allow investors to zoom and scroll within the confines of the window. They can then click the pins and it will bring up information as shown in the screenshots. This is all functioning through Google maps. However, embedded in the website and dynamic.
This becomes accessible to those investors who sign in with their unique login details. These will be stored and kept in the database under the investor's name. It is important that I am able to manually approve the investors and they have to fill in forms, however, this is a face to face discussion. Once they are approved then the database for them to be signed in can be held within the website. Therefore should they need to change their password and user name they can do without my involvement.
Please see screenshots to better understand what should happen. The investor opportunity is not yet made in Google Maps however it should be set up so when the layer is added then this is available. When they click a pin it pulls up the information stored in the Google Map as shown in the screenshots. I can easily get the coding to embed the map.
Currently, the website is held locally and I am using WAMP Server. I would expect that you are using WAMP server and I receive back the files to upload to the WAMP server so I can test it locally before publishing it. Once ready to publish I would want the whole site sent so I can upload this using Filezilla.
The template seems to have gone a bit wrong the images are not coming up that was previously showing. This will need addressing. I have the original template and happy that this is started again. However, I am not looking to have all the copy done. On the landing page, there will be three boxes shown. I have started these. The one on the left is connected to a blog and will go through to another page where the headings are Property Market, Views on Economy, and a couple of others, these can be indicative for now.
The central one is the one where the above brief begins, When an investor clicks this it will explain what will happen and how they can work with us and encourage them to leave their contact details. This will show a version of the map and explain that for those approved we will be able to show the opportunity we are looking at and showcase the deals done. This is exclusive to those investors we approve and who are a good fit with the values of Denson Blake Investments.
The tone of the website it quality, established, and trustworthy. I have the template files and if you wish to start again happy that you do so. However, I need this sent back so I can easily test this locally using WAMP SERVER. Some of the icons under this are not to be used and we can discuss this or make changes.
Any images used MUST follow the tone of the suggested images and be in keeping with the website. I do have access and some picture credit for DEposit Photos which we can use. Howeer for now other images can be used as this is more about function.
