General information for the business: Small scale recruitment agency specialising in HR, Finance and Account Management
Database management system (DBMS): Microsoft Access
Description of requirements/functionality: I am looking for a recruitment access database to capture all of the details for a small scale recruitment agency. I would be looking for the database to predominantly capture the details of candidates, clients and live vacancies.
For example for the candidates I would look for the database to capture details of the following:
• Employee ID
• Discipline e.g. Finance, HR or Account Management
• Nature of role – temporary, permanent or contract
• Fluency of languages spoken
• Position applied for
• First name
• Surname
• Date of birth
• Email address
• Landline number
• Mobile number
• Contact address including: city, county, postcode
• Current job title
• Desired job title
• Willingness to relocate
• Availability
• Skill matrix to include – Skill, skill level, no of years of experience
• Education
- School/institute
- Degree/certification
- Dates of completion
• A section to scan/upload the CV
For the client tab on the database, I would look to capture:
• Company
• Company Address
• Client name
• Client Job Title
• Skills recruited for
Live vacancies tab:
• Company recruiting
• Job Title
• Location
• Salary
• Nature of role – Temporary, permanent or contract
• Target start date
• Date vacancy filled
• A section to upload/scan the job description
I will be buying the Access database in the next few days so would also welcome any recommendation on what version of Access to buy. I would also welcome any recommendations of addition fields that may be useful for a recruitment agency access database.
CMS and Admin requirements: Also looking for capability to scan/upload candidates CVs and also job specifications into the relevant tabs. The database will only be used by one operator.
Extra notes: I will be buying the Access database in the next few days so would also welcome any recommendation on what version of Access to buy. I would also welcome any recommendations of addition fields that may be useful for a recruitment agency access database.
