A Solihull-based solution provider of cloud business software apps to the small and medium business market, is seeking an experienced web developer. The skills required are a reasonable cross-section of the following: PHP, Java/AJAX, Deluge Script, XML, HTML/XHTML, SOAP, Rest, Perl, C#, SQL, Database design, CRM development, e-Commerce website creation, Google-Apps Administration. Candidates will be expected to have experience across a core number of these.
This is a Contract position for up to 12 months, at a competitive remuneration structure that will be partly performance based. The successful candidate will work from their home primarily, and occasionally on our client sites in the UK as the work requires. As we are still in our early growth stage, the personal attributes of flexibility, resourcefulness, self-reliance and customer focus, will be of equal importance the to core technical skills.
It is essential that applicants reside in or close to the UK Midlands region, for reasons of client access and team collaboration.
The qualifications required are a good honours degree along with technical programming qualifications. Substantial post-qualification experience with evidence of successful application deployment is essential.
The work is a varied mix of internal systems and websites, client projects and development of our own software solutions. There is also an element of pre-sales and post implementation support. Knowlege of Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems would be useful.
After an initial contract period of up to 12 months, the successful candidate may be invited to a permanent position at a level appropriate to their abilities.
