I am looking for help in developing a sales ordering app for iPad for our sales teams to use at trade shows and events. We are the UK division of the world's leading manufacturer of dental products. We operate through a dealer network model and whilst we don't sell direct to end users, we do, however, interact with them in surgery and at educational/trade events.
The app will enable our on-stand staff to select from a slimmed down catalogue of c.1,000 product SKUs, provide the customer with a RRP cost estimate, select delivery address and nominate a dealer and then submit an order form which is then e-mailed to our customer service team with a copy sent to the customer's e-mail contact address. Each order to be allocated a unique Ref number.
In addition to the standard product set, there will also be a range of promotional offers available at events which would need to be pre-populated and would be selected from a drop down list, quantity confirmed and any extra info included in a freeform field e.g. sizes, colour etc...
These promotions will vary from event to event, so we would ideally like to be able to set up a range of offers in admin and attach them to a named event e.g. TRADE OCT / WORKSHOP NOV, so conceivably, the user could select the event they are working at and the app load up the relevent offers. The base catalogue is unlikely to change.
The app should be a functional tool and is not intended to be an online catalogue/brochure or e-shop, as customers will have ordered many of these items before or will have seen the products on stand. It is simply a digital version of a paper order form i.e. select a product from a drop down, enter the quantity and any comments and submit.
I have attached a basic mock-up of the form template with key fields as a rough guide, though I would expect we would need some additional pages including splash page/login screen (each sales rep would need to be allocated a user name - their DENTSPLY e-mail - and a Password so we can track individual orders) and where to go next once an order has been completed e.g. start new order, go to previous orders.
The app administrator would need to be able to request a summary of sales data for a given event and/or given day - total RRP at a minimum.
I'm looking for completion of the project by the end of September, which would give us a few weeks to train the sales team and make any last minute tweaks in time for the show in late October.
Please can you provide me with a quote for development of the above.
