Hello PPH users!
We are looking to launch an image bookmarking web application based on functionality already seen on the following websites; svpply (dot) com, thefancy (dot) com and nuji (dot) com. We are NOT looking for a clone.
In short we will offer members the ability to tag items found on online stores to be stored publically in their account. The members within the application will then be able to interact with each other and each item.
There will also be the opportunity for the online store owning tagged items to gain access to the platform to interact with users and manage ‘store’ accounts.
We would like users to be able to connect and integrate their existing social networking accounts (Facebook & Twitter – Google+ when API goes public) with the platform too.
Short and sweet but hopefully that gives you a flavour of our dream.
So who are we looking for? First and foremost we want a people that we can work with easily on a daily basis. We want people/teams that can demonstrate amazing technical ability whilst also having a design flare to produce equally slick and beautiful front end design to match the backend.
Now for the P word. I am a big fan of these sites; I used to freelance as a student too. Unfortunately some users have a tendency to bid way above what they can support adequately. Don’t get us wrong we’re not millionaires and want a competitive price but we are looking for people that understand our vision and have the ability to execute too understanding price will reflect this too!
We have undertaken many projects like this before and understand the need for clear documentation and agreements in place prior to development commencing. If you are not willing to support this – please do not bid.
This project is backed by a large venture capital firm with the plan to continuously grow the platform. We are looking for teams that can support this growth. Mobile strategy is currently being discussed and anyone who has a familiarity with mobile development will be looked upon favourably.
Sound interesting? Please get in contact so we can organise a time to discuss this project further.
Thanks!
