We are looking for an extremely experienced PHP programmer to act as Technical Director, for a launched social networking and ecommerce website.

The business is positioning for two major investment stages and an exit within 2 years.
2 year exit value in excess of 10m and 100k has already been invested in the development to date.

In order to ensure the business is as attractive as possible to potential investors we are aiming to resolve outstanding technical issues and are also approaching a number of significant technical, design and SEO developments, which must be coordinated together.

This is a large project and is currently seeking an experienced PHP developer to act as technical director, oversee and implementing where necessary all onsite updates, as well as strategic planning for future developments.

A minimum 2 hours a day are required to provide programming, fixes and updates to the main site.

A negotiable equity share is offered in return. However a basic regular payment could be discussed against the accruement of shares.

An in-depth working knowledge of:

- Object oriented PHP5
- The MVC (Model / View / Controller) design pattern
- Web standards : including XHTML and CSS for the client side pages, and XML technologies on the server side for configuration and module layout descriptions.
- Latest stable version of PHP5
- MySQL database running on a Linux operating system.
- The site is setup and hosted on a dedicated server
- Ecommerce systems
- APIs
- iPhone and Facebook application experience beneficial (but not essential)
