We are a NHS Provider but we are not NHS. We are Community Benefit Society (not for profit)
We provide Services to the NHS and we are looking for a Social Media Strategy to inform patients of our services and other Health Services that are available to them locally.
This is a very local driven strategy dealing with a diverse population. The strategy has to deal with patients from all age groups and many minority groups of patients who's first language is not English.
The aim is to move patients from accessing inappropriate services to appropriate services for their medical complaints and provide information for health services locally that they can access
Once we have the Strategy complete we will be looking for the successful applicant to help us continue our Social Media campaign on an on going basis
To do this strategy you need to be from the United Kingdom so you have an understanding of how the NHS works so we are not inviting anyone who lives outside the UK
This budget is only for the Strategy not on going to clarify
We will run this proposal until Monday the 14th. It will not be up for 28 days no point really too long a period couldn't see an option to change the time period
We will be looking to work with the person that is successful on an hourly basis as this work is going to be close working so we can get the result with the patient population.
We are not looking to market ourselves but the services we provide which are free at the point of access. In the same way you have crowd funding this is like crowd movement. Moving the the patients to more appropriate services and reducing the pressure on services that are not appropriate for the patients.
To give you an example a patient turning up at A&E with a cold is totally inappropriate where they should have used their GP surgery Walk in Centre UCC or Out of Hours. They may have gone to A&E as they did not know of the other services available besides their own surgery and the surgery was closed or they couldn't get an appointment
This is about using Social Media to Sign Post but on a very local and detailed level as services in other areas are named differently and very confusing for patients. We are sign posting and informing patients of all the services that are in their area that they can access and how to access them
