Looking for a Social Media Manager for a long term project, that is passionate about music and the music industry.
We are a production company developing a strong Artist that requires a driven social media manager within her team.
Position paid monthly.
Responsibilities:
-Manage Music Artist presence on FB, Twitter, Youtube, Instagram and other social channels
-Understanding what type of content works on each social platform and then taking a lead in producing that content
-Create a comprehensive social media and content marketing strategy to build a strong community, boost organic traffic, engage users and build an audience.
-Monitor the results originated by the social media campaigns and re- strategise if needed.
-Build and manage social media calendar and generate compelling content (text, images, videos)
-Run contests, promotions on social media to drive awareness and engagement
-Identify and build relationships with key social influencers to amplify our messaging.
-"Other Stuff." We're a small group and everyone wears many hats. Be prepared to be flexible and take on additional responsibilities as required
-On-the-ground execution of social strategy across multiple channels: write tweets, blogs, forum posts and other customer-facing pieces of written content.
-Oversees real-time and momentum social media campaigns as well as live event real-time activations directing social media command centers at live events
-Regularly evaluate and adjust our multi-faceted social media strategy striving for continuous improvement maximizing post and campaign success
-Actively contribute to social media risk and crisis management.
-Create YouTube influencer initiative.
-Coordinate all aspects of social media campaigns for the Artist
Skills and Requirements:
-2-3 years’ experience in managing social media channels and content within the entertainment or arts industry.
-A Minimum of 2 years’ experience with channel management, publishing calendars, reporting and analytics
-An expert-level understanding of the social media landscape
-An expert-level understanding of memes/gifs and the culture of the internet
-Solid command on social and online marketing channels. You should be willing to experiment with new platforms and tools.
-Good written and spoken level of English
-Organized and self-disciplined. You'll be juggling a lot, and managing a lot of resources.
-Strategic mindset. Setting goals and objectives, having a deep knowledge of the market, and understanding what gets results.
-You thrive on a high degree of ownership, love taking initiative, wearing different hats, and solving new problems.
-Available to work 4 hours per day 5 days per week minimum
