Experience Level: Intermediate
We are looking for a self-motivated and experienced Social Media Specialist, to join our start-up company on a freelance/self-employed basis. You will be responsible for all of our Social Media channels including; Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for growing brand awareness and acquiring new customers (B2B and B2C).
We are a very performance-driven organisation and you’ll be expected to provide strategic direction and be comfortable working in a fast-moving, start-up environment. Applicants should have a can-do attitude, be highly organised, and proactive.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute both organic and paid campaigns across a range of channels
• Implementation and on-going optimisation of paid social campaigns, driving brand awareness, lead-generation, revenue and retention
• Lead on paid social spend allocation and budget management.
• Maintain social media pages through organic campaigns in order to build a social community and increase engagement.
• Lead on audience building and segmentation as well as prospecting and retargeting strategies.
• Build a robust testing framework for paid social and implement across appropriate campaigns, making individual campaign adjustments as need be to maximise overall results.
• Pulling paid social reports when necessary and being pro-active about using paid social data to recommend optimisations and taking part in end of campaign reports.
• Stay current with Facebook/IG/LinkedIn paid social best practices. Try and test new innovative approaches and make recommendations to maximise ROI.
• Support the leadership team in the strategic planning of paid media.
• Manage relationships with all relevant internal and external stakeholders, suppliers and third parties.
• Manage all social communication (Customer Service), i.e. Queries, Comments, etc
• Oversee the implementation of social strategies across clients' accounts.
Requirements:
• Over 2 years' experience working in Paid Social (client or agency). Experience working with training companies, or digital agencies would be an advantage.
• B2B experience is a must
• Understand social strategies and be a great communicator to internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to develop strong marketing roadmaps to boost online presence
• Highly organised and proactive with working multiple briefs.
• Hands on executional across Paid Social - FB, IG, LI.
• Have developed social content ideas and aligned this with paid media campaigns
• Ability to build strong relations with clients, deliver advice and guidance when needed
• Create and present reports and communicate this in an effective manner
We will only be considering freelancers or candidates who are self-employed. You can also be based anywhere in the world, but must you must be English speaking.
