Hello,
I'm organising an independent Charity event to help the relief effort for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines and am looking for a facebook marketing wizz to help me out for a couple of hours! It's for a great cause and for the right person can be lots of fun too.
I gave myself 2 weeks to organise the event, which is on Thursday, 28th Nov, from 6-11pm. The requirement is to increase exposure, generate more interest leading to sales in the final 2 days leading up to the event. The event will be at the Rhythm Factory in central London, there will be 2 rooms: a live room, featuring 5 bands, and the lounge, featuring a close-up magician, complimentary cupcakes and a raffle draw. I've organised a good package however, I feel I haven't done enough via social media marketing for it.
The online price is a very reasonable at £8.50. On the door £10. All proceeds are going to the victims of the typhoon.
I've created an event on facebook and have been sharing, etc. However, I have just 50 'going' and 33 'maybe' with 421 'Invited (excluding bands fans - on average 15 people per band - 75 approx). The capacity of the venue is 400 over 2 rooms, and the original goal was to get at least 250 people in for the event.
I would like to try and deliver this if possible - I haven't as yet hit facebook groups or targeted specific markets. My current marketing has been solely focused on my internal friends and their extended profiles.
Looking for someone who has the knowledge, ability and savvy to increase exposure of my event and drive interest in a very short period of time. I have a small budget as this is a charity out of my own pocket, however for the right person, I believe 2-3 hours would be sufficient.
