Social Media Manager for Exciting New Travel Startup

Budget: £150–£400/month to start (low budget initially as we're bootstrapping, but pay increases as the business grows – real potential for the right person)Location: Remote (UK only – must be based in the UK)

Job Description:
I'm launching a new premium travel service and need a UK-based social media expert to build and run our online presence from scratch through launch (July 2026) and beyond.
We're starting with zero followers and zero content – this is ground-floor stuff.

What you'll do:
Set up and optimise all major platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, possibly X/Twitter and YouTube Shorts).
Create and post daily content (posts, Reels, stories, short videos – teasers, behind-the-scenes, hype-building).
Film and edit simple, engaging videos (phone quality is fine to start).
Grow followers organically (UK-focused audience, groups, hashtags, engagement).
Basic graphics and scheduling (Canva-level is perfect).

This is a long-term partnership – follow the journey from zero to launch and beyond. Low budget at the start, but pay grows with the business. The right person will be part of something that could get big.
You must be:
Based in the UK.
Proven experience growing small business/startup pages from zero (please share examples).
Reliable, creative, self-starter – comfortable working with limited direction initially.
Good at video editing and consistent daily posting.
