We are looking for a self-motivated and experienced Social Media Specialist, to join our start-up company on a freelance/self-employed basis. You will be responsible for our exciting, newly launched, B2C brand and manage our Social Media channels (Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Podcast).
The successful candidate will also be responsible for growing brand awareness, building a social community, and increasing engagement, through a range of content formats and strategic methods.
You’ll be comfortable working in a fast-moving, start-up environment. Applicants should have a can-do attitude, be highly organised, creative and have the ability to communicate to a range of audiences.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute paid campaigns across a range of channels to build page followers
• Implementation and on-going optimisation of organic social campaigns, driving brand awareness.
• Lead on paid social spend allocation and budget management.
• Maintain social media pages through organic campaigns in order to build a community and increase engagement.
• Lead on audience building and segmentation as well as prospecting strategies.
• Be experienced with implementing a wide range of Ad/creative formats including Text, images, dynamic, video, etc)
• Build a robust testing framework for paid social and implement across appropriate campaigns, making individual campaign adjustments as need be to maximise overall results.
• Pulling paid and organic social reports when necessary and being pro-active about using social data to recommend optimisations and taking part in end of campaign reports.
• Stay current with Facebook/LinkedIn/YouTube paid social best practices. Try and test new innovative approaches and make recommendations to maximise ROI.
• Offer recommendations to test additional social media channels.
• Manage relationships with all relevant internal and external stakeholders, suppliers and third parties.
Requirements:
• Over 2 years' experience working in Paid and Organic Social (client or agency). Experience building a brand from scratch would be an advantage.
• B2C experience is a must
• Understand social strategies and be a great communicator to internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to develop strong marketing roadmaps to boost online presence
• Highly organised and proactive with working multiple briefs.
• Hands on executional across FB and LI is a must.
• Have developed social content ideas and aligned this with paid media campaigns
• Create and present reports and communicate this in an effective manner
We will only be considering freelancers or candidates who are self-employed. You can also be based anywhere in the world, but must you must be English speaking.
