Hi,
We're an online retailer of health, beauty and fitness products and are looking for someone to develop and maintain our social media presence.
The two aims are:
1) Build and maintain the relationship with existing customers
2) Find new fans who could become potential customers
Obviously Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest should be treated and handled differently due to the different approaches of each site.
The process we think appropriate is:
1) Try and encourage as many existing customers to follow us on Facebook etc, through emails to our list with competitions etc.
2) Encourage new customers to follow us through promotion of our social media presence both on site and in confirmation emails etc
3) Grow followers also through competitions, sweepstakes etc.
4) Encourage interaction with followers with a healthy ratio of interesting content to product promotion
We're happy to consider any other methods / process that you recommend.
We envisage a few days work to get the ball rolling and then an hour or so a day ongoing.
If you're interested in applying then please answer the following:
1) Have you managed social media campaigns for any health or beauty sites before? If so / if not please list previous experience / successes.
2) How would you approach both encouraging people to follow us and then encouraging interaction?
3) Where are you based? We'd prefer someone based in the UK, or at least an native English speaker. Please don't apply if this isn't the case.
4) How would you measure the success of a social media campaign?
