Hi, I'm Chris and I have a podcast. I'd like to use Descript to make editing it a lot quicker but I can't work it out. In particular, the underlord AI assistant assures me that multitrack editing is possible but I can't find a tutorial on this and I really want to be able to have more than one audio playing at once and use multiple tracks to soften overlaps. Would anyone be up for an hour's call to go over my questions?

    I think you need to use ADOBE or EDIU. I am using these two softwares from 8 years for my songs edditing. movie shots and podcasts.

    Which OS are you on, macOS or Windows, and what version of Descript have you installed?

    Do you already have separate audio files for host and guest, or is everything in one stereo file?

    Are there specific music or SFX elements you plan to layer in each episode?

    How do you currently publish directly from Descript or through another DAW after export?

    Would you like a brief walkthrough of Descript’s Studio Sound and Auto‑Level features during our call?
