Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: 1 - 2 weeks
Hi, I am working on a 3D animation project and require a professional audio track creating to complement the visuals of the introductory scenes.
The job is to create a complete audio track for an animated scene of approximately 4 minutes in length, including 100% foley/FX sounds, a copyright free soundtrack and professional mixing.
The project is currently at the Visual Development stage, but the first scene has a complete animatic with "watermarked" sounds (from https://www.pond5.com) for reference.
Based on the animatic, I expect to require between 50 and 100 unique FX/Foley sounds, plus a background music composition. The style is cartoony (refer to https://cointelegraph.com/ for artwork inspiration and attached snaps), but am looking for an 'atmoshperic' (maybe even dramatic) quality.
Once on contract I can provide a full animatic sequence with overlain draft sound as either a mp4 or After Effects file. I can also provide a descriptive list of all sounds currently anticipated (.xls). I however have no background music reference, therefore some creative input is required.
There is no dialogue in the sequence and only a few vocal sounds (grunts, screams etc). The rest of the of the sounds are environmental (e.g. wind, wood creaks, flags flapping), industrial (e.g. heavy chains, switches, electical, compressors, metal grating), vehicles (rocket boosters, booms).
What I need:
1. 50-100 unique royality free foley/fx sounds (oringal files, non-compressed preferred);
2. a complemetary (non-distracting) music tack (non-compressed preferred);
3. a mixed audio track (format compatible with Adobe Audition);
4. creative direction, where it can be offered;
5. appropriate constructive criticism;
6. a professional touch;
What I can provide:
1. a (low-quality) complete animatic with draft (water-marked) sounds for reference (video file or after effects);
2. descriptive lists of sounds with approximate times and durations (excel);
3. onging direction or stated preferences, as required;
I'm looking for completion within the next month or so to allow the detailed animation stage to commence. Although animation production times are long, successful completion of this job to a high standard may lead to offers of future contracts for the complete animation.
This is fixed price but I am open to a reasonable invoicing plan, ideally involving decision hold-points, otherwise I can propose a payment plan, reserving the right to retain 20 percentage of the job cost if the final product isn't of sufficient quality.
If you have any questions, please send me a message.
Regards,
Dylan.
