PROJECT TITLE
Follow-up calls after Direct Mail sent to 15 CFOs to arrange appointments for a software demonstration
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
We are a boutique Management Consultancy providing analytic services to CFOs (Chief Financial Officers). We will be running a focussed awareness raising campaign to 15 CFOs with the objective of arranging appointments to see a face-to-face demonstration of our service and technology. From experience, the intelligence we provide has a strong “wow” factor for CFOs as their current systems are unable to provide it.
In Week 1 of the campaign we will send targeted CFOs three direct mail pieces in quick succession. Each DM piece will have a specific call-to-action – “contact us to see a face-to-face demonstration of our service.”
From Week 2 onwards we need a mature appointment setting expert to make a sequence of follow-up calls to 15 CFOs to arrange appointments. We will supply the successful bidder with the switchboard telephone numbers of the target companies and the name of the CFO. The successful bidder will need to navigate through the company to reach the target, most probably via PA gatekeepers. This is not a numbers game, each contact matters. Polite outcomes are essential.
If the targets request a re-send of the Direct Mail material we will handle this via Email (an e-Brochure) as long as an appropriate email address has been collected during the call and passed to us. Once the material has been re-sent the follow-up calls will need to continue until a conclusion is reached.
We will provide a detailed product briefing and light scripting to the successful bidder (via web conference) who will then be expected to practice their approach in a return phone call to us soon after the web conference. We will then give feedback to help hone the approach.
SELECTION CRITERIA
1. Mature professional, well spoken, smiling voice, politely persistent , not pushy
2. Experience of dealing with senior targets and their PAs (ideally in Finance Departments)
3. Experience of B2B appointment setting ideally in software or technology
4. Willingness to sign our Confidential Disclosure Agreement
DELIVERABLES
1. Appointments with CFOs or their Immediate Reports
2. One Contact log per CFO (i.e. 15 Contact Logs in total) detailing each calling sequence and outcomes, including any feedback. Each contact needs to be given the opportunity to opt-in to future emails from us (only us). Email addresses should be recorded in the Contact Logs.
DURATION
Estimated at 3-4 (not full-time) starting in the week after the Direct Mails have been sent-out.
BASE FEE
£125
SUCCESS FEE
Capped at a maximum of £300 for this pilot project. Calculated as follows: £30 per meeting ARRANGED (max 5 meetings) PLUS a further £30 per meeting ATTENDED BY US after the meeting actually takes place (max 5 meetings). Meetings have to be with CFOs or their Immediate Reports.
