We are producing high-quality and internationally renowned organic salmon from our independant farm in the Shetland Islands of the UK. In the very near future we will begin producing cold-smoked fillets from our GB-registered, organic certified processing factory, which is less than a mile from the farm sites. The farm is run by my family so we have the pick of the very best of an already high-quality product which has been served to world leaders at the G20 summit, to the British Royal family, and has been cooked by famous chefs such as Hugh-Fearnley Whittingstall and Heston Blumenthal.
Our 2 local growing sites are monitored by the Organic Food Federation, the RSPCA and the Freedom Foods Association, among others and holds various quality certificates.
What we require are agents to sell the product and arrange shipping to restaurants, delicatessens, hotels etc within the UK or europe. It will have a shelf-life of around 6 weeks but we will be arranging lab-tests very soon to confirm this.
Its a rare opportunity to sell a very exclusive product that isnt mass-produced low-grade fish - this product is entirely hand-made and carefully prepared and smoked to exacting specifications.
I would estimate initial production to be around 100 kilograms per week, depending on sales performance, with great potential for expansion as I have access to huge quantities of fish.
My proposal is to sell the product at the very competitive price of £33/kilo, with the sales agent recieving £3/kilo commission. The cost of shipping must be met by the buyer.
