I'm not quite how to explain this, but essentially I am trying to develop prediction equations to predict body condition score (BCS) from liveweight in beef cows during pregnancy. Liveweight is affected by stage of gestation so I have formulas to adjust liveweight to account for gravid uterus weight and maternal weight. Hip height is also another factor that affects liveweight. So far all we've done is predict liveweight using BCS and hip height then turn the equation around to predict BCS. This more or less gives acceptable results but doesn't factor in the stage in gestation (which is the key part of my research) and I add more factors in when predicting liveweight - I don't know how to rearrange equations when including more factors to turn the equation around to predict bcs.. Is this something you could possibly help with?
