As a result of rapid growth we have a large number of opportunities and need a seasoned sales professional to take control of the opportunities and lead them to closure.
What is your main objective:
To hit sales targets as far as revenue and KPIs
Contribute to improvement of internal sales processes
Your tasks:
You will lead your sales support team and be responsible for the results of the sales effort. Your team will include researchers, telemarketers and sales admin support.
You will manage pipeline and ensure that deals are progressing through it on a daily/weekly basis. You will report to the Managing Director weekly on pipeline progress.
With each prospect (who expresses interest in the product) you will engage in full sales cycle with diligence and persistence:
- Carry out introductory meeting
- Follow up by email
- Carry out follow up meeting
- Carry out demonstration of the product if necessary (either organise these for face to face by other people or set up conf calls)
- Provide proposal (typically proposals are produced by our clients back end)
- Chase feedback
- Negotiate
- Close
Tracking progress, measuring results, forecasting each deal and client engagement is part of the role.
Your experience:
- Your key skills will be in new business development, negotiating and closing deals.
- Your product knowledge and experience will be in ICT.
- A good understanding of capital markets industry is a plus.
- selling at C-level is a big plus
- At least 2 years in new business sales;
- track-record of hitting targets
- At least 5yrs in business
- references and tractability of prior experience
- experience in co-ordinating and working successfully with wider team including sales support
- experience in presenting, running meetings and organising demonstrations
- experienced with consultative, visionary and SPIN sales techniques
- experienced in a number of sales methodologies
