I have been running a software development company for 15 years. Thus far, I have organically aquired customers through word of mouth and personal recommendations. I'm a developer myself and outsource development tasks to various freelance remote developers. Typically I work with clients with budgets of at least £20,000 and our projects include bespoke software development, application modernisation, migration to cloud, Office 365 migrations and ongoing IT support.
I would like to grow my company by:
1) Developing my website and brand
2) Implement a marketing strategy
3) Perform competitor analysis for content creation for organic SEO
4) Set up a CRM / sales pipeline
My current website is more of simple placeholder, rather than an effective channel to market and aquire new customers. It's hosted in Wix and I do like the current template and layout, but require someone who can work with me to identify what new content can be added to make it an attractive resource for potential clients.
I know what my personal and business values are, but I need help by someone to understand these, and transfer them in to an identifable brand.
Essentially, I would like to be in a position where a technical sales person would be in a position whereby they are able to sell my services. In turn, I would like to employ developers in-house who can work directly with me.
I envisage this project lasting three months and by the end of this time the company would be in a strong position to start identifying and reaching out to prospective clients.
