Kickstarter campaign setup

I have invented a new product for the electrical construction industry. Once I get the 3D modeling done, I'm looking at starting a Kickstarter campaign to help fund the upcoming costs that will incur. This product will more than likely be required to be patented, UL Listed, or Certified, and manufacturing for a working prototype will all cost money, so I feel the only way to succeed and move forward is to have a descriptive and well done Kickstarter campaign.
