Telemarketing and Appointment Making

Outshine is a telephone training business that has been delivering telephone training to clients UK/Europe based for over 21 years. Their client base consist of Blue Chip companies which include, Royal Bank Scotland, Thorntons, Shell Gas to small to medium sized businesses. We also specialise in training for the Welfare to Work and Skills industry who focus on getting people back into work.

This is a pilot yet an ongoing project for us. We are trainers in telemarketing and cold calling and have in the past had our own telemarketing company, so we know what we are looking for. What I personally need (the M.D) is help as I'm constantly now out training and delivering courses. I still will continue to make around 60-80 cold calls per month but to really make a difference in our business we need a greater number of calls made.

We are looking for someone with real experience of Business to business calling, lead generation and appointment making. Someone with a great personality on the phone and likeable. **Your sales skills are more important to us than your admin skills**

What we want is as follows

1.Someone initially to clean a database of 'councils and housing' associations, which demands a certain level of intelligence as you will be sent from Pillar to post and your level of grammar / spelling needs to be good. We cannot afford to have poorly spelt names.

2.Ideally we want contact names and where possible an email address. The list will be provided.

3. You will be given your own email address and we'd like you to send a standard email to all the contacts you've made contact with on our behalf.

4. Then a follow up call to invite companies onto a course one day / or half day.

This exercise will be repeated with 4-5 specific sectors e.g Sweet companies / food companies / standard b2b. We have list for all these companies.

This first project is based solely on contacting approximately 100 housing/councils. The fee quoted is based on the calling aspect only, although we'd expect the fee will increase. However, initially we'd like the right person to allocate approx. 6-7 hours to this one project so we can assess how long it takes. We'd envisage it will need around 18 hours but for now the £100 is based on 6 - 7 hours only.

This is an ongoing project. We'd ideally like to try this with two people freelance so we can have a comparison and then at the end the most effective person will get all the rest of the projects. The projects are for our company only. You will be given an ideal approach to use, although we are happy for you to put your slant on it!

The final project will be contacting decision makers to arrange visits to discuss telephone training. Again we are looking for someone with experience. This is not needed initially but we will be looking to be visiting new clients in September.

**IMPORTANT*** The person must be United Kingdom based (England). Due to the level of communication required.

It is important you have a PC and are familiar with inputting / word.
