We are a new business development start-up that seeks to help small, niche and early-stage US firms access the UK and European markets. We only work with those with truly innovative and market-leading products services - we have no interest in pushing yet another website developer or full service ad agency!
We have landed our first client - a developer of a market-leading tool that is easily embedded within fashion e-commerce sites, helping customers to get better fitting advice.
The developer has over 20 US online retail partners and extensive case studies showing significant increases in both sales conversions and the size of orders, as well as decreasing returns based on fit. We can furnish you with a wide range of information to support your sales efforts. Thankfully the product, though certainly a very clever piece of software, is very simple to explain and use - and you should be speaking to technology/e-commerce teams anyway.
The product has a sliding scale of costings depending upon monthly unique users. Part of the role will be to determine each online store's number of users and adapt your approach accordingly. If below a certain number you should try to close on the phone, or set-up a tele appointment for our team - if it is above, your role becomes more focused on appointment setting and laying the ground for a good closing meeting for our team.
We have developed a very rough list of cold leads (around 45) that we encourage you to use. It is by no means the best list in the world and you should expect to have to work to ensure you are speaking to the right people.
Of course, if you have sold to fashion e-commerce sites before, you would be at the top of our list - especially if you have current contacts. But equally we believe that the talent of a true salesperson comes in their ability to quickly get to grips with a product and push it intelligently.
Finally, this is a growing enterprise and we are keen to meet and work with talented business development professionals for future projects.
