Research & Draft an Encyclopedic Article

We are seeking an experienced writer with a strong understanding of encyclopedic writing standards to research and draft a neutral, well-sourced article about an organisation based on independent third-party coverage.

This project is focused on research, evaluation, and drafting only. It is not a marketing, promotional, or SEO task.

Scope of Work

The freelancer will:

Review existing third-party sources to evaluate whether the subject meets common encyclopedic notability standards

Produce a neutral, factual draft written in an encyclopedic tone

Ensure all statements are supported by independent, reliable, secondary sources

Structure the draft according to standard encyclopedic article conventions

Make reasonable revisions based on editorial feedback

Requirements

Proven experience with encyclopedic or reference-style writing

Strong sourcing and citation skills

Clear understanding of neutrality, verifiability, and notability concepts

Ability to work within strict content and sourcing guidelines

Promotional writing, guarantees of publication, or policy-violating approaches are not acceptable.

Payment will be released via milestones aligned with research, drafting, and revisions

Final use or publication of the content will be handled separately
