Description
Experience Level: Entry
Estimated project duration: Ongoing
We’re seeking a dynamic and creative person (individuals only, not agencies) to help us with our marketing efforts. The tasks you’ll complete will be varied and always evolving as our marketing processes grow and develop, so if you’re looking for a role with variety and scope to really make it your own, then this could be for you.
Our company is London-based, however we’re all working remotely due to COVID (and will be for the forseeable future), so you can be based anywhere, but ideally in the UK. We have 5 brands housed under one company which are all related to the higher education industry.
Here are the main duties you’ll be helping us with:
* Designing and scheduling social media posts
* Recording and reporting social engagement stats
* Creating ads/paid promotions across social media platforms (mostly Facebook and instagram)
* Making simple website copy/image edits in Wordpress
* Helping to put together email campaigns in Mailchimp and analysing performance
* Updating and helping to manage our Google ads
* Helping to light-edit/proofread and publish our blog content
* Various other tasks as required - this role will be varied and different tasks required from day to day and week to week
We’re looking for someone with the following skills/knowledge:
* Good knowledge of social media platforms, particularly Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Google Business
* Knowledge of how Facebook/Instagram ads work
* Basic design skills and a creative eye (we currently use Canva)
* Tech-savvy - we’d like to hire someone who can navigate apps and software easily and is generally good with tech, as we use various softwares to manage our processes
* Basic HTML coding (preferred but not essential)
* Familiarity with Google ads / PPC
* Familiarity with SEO and blog content
* Excellent grasp of written UK English and a great eye for detail/spotting errors (essential)
In terms of hours, we envisage needing around 10-20 hours of your time per week, Monday to Friday only (no weekends). If you have flexibility in how many hours you can provide, that’s great. Remuneration-wise, we have a budget of £12 per hour.
Thanks for reading and we look forward to receiving your application.
