Business Development / Sales advice and implementation for wholesaler

We are a wholesaler of gifts to the engraving and cobbler trade. Since starting out 2 years ago we have been very passive in our marketing – mainly a website / SEO and a couple of mailshots. Despite this sales have been good and we now feel that there is plenty of potential to increase our sales by being more pro-active and really pushing our marketing to another level; however we need advice and support in how to do this. I am not a natural sales person so need advice on things like
- What are the markets we should be looking at?
- Which specific shops / businesses should we be contacting?
- What is the best way to market ourselves? Employ a Sales rep or a telesales person? Send out Mailshots, e-mails, telesales?
- What marketing materials will we need to support our sales push?

So essentially we need business development / sales / marketing advice, and a plan created for us.

We’ll then need someone to implementing the plan and start selling. If you’re able to do both that’s great, however if you have exceptional experience in putting together marketing strategies that can be proven to work, then we would be willing to take you on for the first aspect of this job only.
Note: I can pay to £50 per hour for the advice and strategy and £15-£20 for the implementation
