Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Our company was incorporated 2013 and is called "Fineline Carpentry & Building"
www.finelinecarpentry.co.uk
Please do not contact the office directly via phone/email. Only submit proposals on PPH!
We are looking to rebrand due to the following:
• Fineline has changed recently, as a founding director has left, so we are entering a new era as a company
• Fineline has grown a lot over the last 5 years and could use a new image to reflect this (started as 2x working carpenters, but now a £2M+ per annum business with circa 40 staff)
• We've added new services over the last 2 years and our business has become more diverse (e.g. fire protection, cavity barriers, ceilings/partitions etc)… I’m constantly hearing from our clients that they don’t know all we do!
• We want better branding to try and attract better talent (e.g. qualified tradespeople). Again I keep speaking to local tradespeople that haven’t seen or heard of us before, which always surprises me!
The specific “rebranding” we require is:
• New logo(s) that conveys: modern, professional, sophisticated, confident, high growth (in other words we’re no longer just “local builders”)
• New sub-brands e.g. Fineline as the main brand, but beneath this… Fineline Carpentry, Fineline Passive Fire, Fineline Partitions
• Retain our existing black/green colours for Fineline, but introduce new complimentary colours for our sub-brands
• Incorporate new logo/identity/colours into graphics for our vans (this is important as travelling vans are probably our biggest advertisement in the south west, to clients and attracting tradespeople)
• New HTML email signature for 5x office staff
• New corporate vision/slogan that can be shared with staff and other stakeholders
Obviously rebranding will take time to roll out (workwear, stationery, social media, website, signage etc) but we want to minimise disruption to the website. So likelihood is that we will just update our website logo/colour scheme, but we won’t change the content much or redesign.
This rebrand also needs to be presented to my business partner and our management team, before it can be approved. Therefore the new brand should be presented in the form of a brochure for approval.

Hello Michael
As you mentioned, your clients cannot find all the services that you offer, do you really think it's because of your branding? Or maybe your website and message do not reach them.
Your website is where your customers will come, so regardless of your branding if your website isn't optimised and the message isn't clear, your customers will not find what they are looking for.
Would you be willing to get on a call to discuss this in detail?
Best regards
