Magento Ecommerce

I would like to do an online ecommerce website using Magento.

This would be for a toy store selling wooden toys.

Similar sites are http://www.woodentoyshop.co.uk and http://www.oompa.com

I would consider a proposal in either Magento community edition or Magento Go.
I come from a web development background myself and have previously setup sites using Magento Go. But I find M.Go very limiting, especially with regard to getting accurate shipping rates and CSS design.

Broadly, the requirements for the site are similar to the links above and you should quote based on this.

Additional requirements may include

Home page with banner slider, designed in photoshop
Ability to add static pages
One page checkout
Custom CSS layout, not the standard Magento templates.
Responsive (bootstrap twitter for example)
