ModiFlow is a plastic tube with inner walls that sequentially subdivide the space within. This is used for getting aerosolized medication to the lungs more efficiently. This "lamination" of the inner space of the tube is designed to reduce the chance of emergence of turbulence which brakes the forward flow.
