Integrate 3rd Party Payment Gateway with Opencart (Journal Theme)

Universal Transaction Processing (UTP) have supplied us with an Extension for Opencart 2.3.0.2 which is successfully installed, however on the Quick Checkout page and "Confirm Order" is clicked it freezes and does not go to the next step.

If using the default checkout (And not the Quick Checkout) it gives the error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '@' in /home/dprintersdirectc/public_html/catalog/view/theme/default/template/extension/payment/utp_hosted.tpl on line 10

I believe this may a compatibility issue with the Journal theme but maybe not.

Looking for an expert who is familiar with integrating Payment Gateways with Opencart, and preferably familiar with the Journal theme, the help get this working.
