AQuote for Drainage Strategies and Flood Risk Assessments
Land North of Bicester Road Twyford Buckinghamshire MK18 4HA
• Produce separate Drainage Strategies and Flood Risk Assessment for each of the following developments located at Land North of Bicester Road Twyford Buckinghamshire MK18 4HA:
- Equestrian Centre
- Woodland Burial Ground
- Eco-cabins site
• Produce two cumulative assessments (drainage and flooding) of all three developments in the form of separate statements.
• Include consultation/liaison with the Buckingham and River Ouzel Internal Drainage Board.
Drainage Strategies:
Three separate drainage strategies as well as a cumulative assessment will be required for planning submission.
This quote should include for all work required to submit and approve the planning applications, including liaison with the respective parties.
This will include (but is not exclusive to):
- A review of existing drainage records (topographical survey will be available)
- Review and consider guidance provided by Local Planning and Local Flood Authority
- Assessment of drainage options for the site
- Calculation of the volume of run-off pre and post development and identification of how the
additional volume will be dealt with.
- Plans for foul sewerage disposal, surface water disposal and access road drainage.
- Consider and incorporate Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) - demonstrate the use of SuDS principles in surface water drainage from buildings and hard surfaces.
- Consultation with Environment Agency, Sewerage Operator, Highway Authority, Planning Authority, Building Control and Client.
Consider and advise on specific issues such as:
- Solution for an existing field drain which runs through the centre of the development which will require culverting in part
- Advice of the creation of a new small lake, including assessment of the surface water drainage requirements, best position, high level design principles.
- Impact of woodland burial ground on water table levels, groundwater and existing Mill stream
Flood Risk Assessments:
Three separate Flood Risk Assessments as well as one cumulative assessment will be required for planning submission.
This quote should include for all work required to submit and approve the planning applications, including liaison with the respective parties.
