Dynamic Website for an Artist Gallery

We are looking for a database website designer.

We are a design agency and we supply all designs to web developers.

We require a company based in UK only.

We also require a designer with good working knowledge of Coldfusion as they may be another site that we need you to work on.

Below are the specifications of the website.

The website is for an art gallery who have about 30 artists work showing on their website.

They need a back end CMS building so that they can upload and manage artsits work.

Details below:

Front end:
The existing pages on the website will stay as they are, but will be redesigned by DPM.

There will be a new 'about us page' and a video page also which will consist of about 20 videos embedded from youtube.

Homepage:
Featured artist: on homepage as well as news feed detailing live and forthcoming exhibtions. This is the only dynamic bit on the homepage.

Submissions Page(Artist Work upload facility):
They need to add a facility on the contact page for perspective artists and existing artists to upload up to 5 pieces of work and email to gallery.

Content Management System:
- They need to be able to make web content updates including the usual suspects: text; image; video and MP3 upload; creation of new web pages.
- Website to run similar to www.albemarlegallery.com in terms of these main features:
Artists page:

- This will be a Page displaying 30 artists names, and ‘on hover’ their show case image will display. Such as page shown here: http://www.albemarlegallery.com/artists.php

Functionality on artists page:
They want their site to work in a similar way in terms of displaying artists work and what happens when you click on artists work: http://www.albemarlegallery.com/artists/alexander-klingspor
- Want ability to display up to 30 pictures per artist.
- Want zoom feature for magnified detail of images.
- Want ‘Click to enlarge’ facility as per albermarle gallery
- Want ‘Add to short list’ facility like on www.espritdujardin.com website, so that people using the website can save artwork they like into a folder. The user can then email this folder of artwork they like to the gallery for a price and more details.
- When they are uploading work in CMS they need to have an Automatic file resize facility so they do not have to resize it themselves.

All layouts will be supplied for the front end. These have all been designed and signed off by my client.
