We are looking for a highly analytical, data-driven SEO Strategist to coordinate SEO efforts across our retained clients.
This role would be well suited to an insightful professional who is a great collaborator. The SEO Strategist works with a variety of teams, so great communication skills are a must. Current knowledge of SEO practices and techniques is essential to this role.
Experience working on multiple accounts and strategies in an agency setting would be advantageous also, as well as experience supporting wider marketing activities like social media or content marketing.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
As SEO Strategist you will be responsible for planning, implementing and managing our clients’ SEO strategies. Search presence is extremely important for the success of our clients, and therefore your position will play a huge role in driving our clients’ business' growth and success.
Your main objective will be to make sure content is search-engine optimised, and sites are adhering to SEO best practices. Key responsibilities will also include:
- Planning, developing and implementing client SEO strategies
- Working towards organic search optimisation and ROI maximisation
- Leading regular and thorough keyword research to guide the content team
- Reviewing technical SEO issues and recommend fixes
- Optimising website content, landing pages and various other copy
- Directing off-page optimisation projects (e.g. link-building)
- Monitoring redirects, click rate, bounce rate, and other KPIs
- Identifying key SEO KPIs
- Preparing and presenting reports regularly
- Identifying buyer personas to better target identified audiences
- Identifying problems and deficiency and implement solutions in a timely manner
- Suggesting improvements in process and productivity optimisation
- Collaborating with web developers and marketing team
- Supporting where possible the wider marketing team on practices such as PPC, CRO
- Working with social media and PPC teams to optimise campaigns
- Keeping abreast of SEO and integrated marketing trends
