Google Ads Specialist (B2B Lead Generation — Full Optimisation)
We are looking for an experienced Google Ads specialist to take full ownership of optimisation for a B2B lead generation account.
This is not an ecommerce role. The focus is on high-intent B2B traffic, long sales cycles, and generating qualified leads — not volume for the sake of it.
Scope of Work
You will be responsible for ongoing optimisation and performance improvement across the account, including:
Search term analysis and continuous negative keyword refinement
Bid management and budget allocation based on performance
Ad copy testing (RSAs, assets, messaging aligned to intent)
Campaign and ad group structure optimisation
Audience strategy including remarketing (Display and RLSA)
Ongoing performance analysis and identification of growth opportunities
Monthly performance reviews with clear actions and rationale
Performance Focus
Improve cost per qualified lead (not just CPL)
Increase lead quality and conversion rates
Ensure budget is being allocated to the highest intent opportunities
Reduce wasted spend through tight keyword and audience control
Account Context
B2B lead generation (not ecommerce)
High-value conversions with longer sales cycles
Multiple service-based landing pages
Emphasis on intent-driven search campaigns
Experience Required
Proven experience managing B2B Google Ads accounts
Demonstrated ability to improve CPA/CPL in lead generation environments
Strong understanding of search intent, keyword structuring, and negative strategies
Experience working with smaller budgets where efficiency is critical
Ability to think commercially, not just technically
Nice to Have (but not required)
Experience with remarketing strategy (Display / RLSA)
Understanding of offline conversion tracking or CRM-based optimisation
Ability to provide landing page and conversion rate feedback
Engagement
Ongoing work (initial setup + weekly optimisation)
Expected time commitment: approx. 5–8 hours per week depending on scope
We are looking for someone proactive who can take ownership, not just follow instructions
