Description
Experience Level: Expert
I’m the founder of PrediabetesBasket.com, a UK subscription web app for people who have been told they are prediabetic.
It analyses supported online supermarket receipts and order confirmations, providing a Basket Score, personalised educational food feedback, practical swaps and comparisons between shops. The website includes a demonstration video, and users can try their first analysis free.
I need an experienced marketing strategist who can assess the business, identify the best way to reach relevant UK customers, and implement an affordable, measurable campaign.
I have tried limited Google advertising, social content and outreach. I have received encouraging feedback, but have not yet established consistent customer acquisition. Traffic has been low, so I need someone who can distinguish between insufficient exposure, unclear messaging and problems in the signup journey.
The initial project should include:
• A review of the website, positioning, free offer and signup journey.
• A consultation with me to explain your findings and priorities.
• A practical 30-day marketing plan suited to a small business with a limited budget.
• Implementation of an agreed initial campaign or test.
• Tracking and reporting covering relevant visitors, completed free analyses, paid subscriptions and acquisition costs.
Please include the following in your proposal:
1. Two relevant examples of subscription businesses, web apps or consumer services you have helped grow.
2. What you personally did, the starting position, campaign budget, timeframe and measurable results.
3. Evidence supporting those results, such as anonymised reports, case studies or a client reference.
4. Your initial observations about PrediabetesBasket.com and what you would investigate first.
5. Your fixed price for the initial review and plan, plus a separate implementation quote and proposed advertising budget.
6. Confirmation of which work you will personally carry out and anything you would outsource.
Experience reaching UK consumers and working with small budgets is particularly relevant. Health-related experience would be helpful; our service provides educational feedback and marketing must avoid unsupported medical claims.
I’m looking for clear reasoning, relevant evidence and practical delivery. Please explain how you would test your approach and decide whether to continue, change or stop a campaign.
I would like to begin with a clearly scoped paid project, with further work dependent on the quality of delivery and what we learn.
